《中国乡村研究》第一辑

收录国内外有关中国乡村研究方面的9篇论文，内容包括汉唐间中国的乡村社会组织，近代珠江三角洲、河北农村的治理模式，中国共产党革命时期的农村政策，改革开放后中国农村的日常生活，宗族组织、土地所有制的变化以及农村自治等方面的新特点。《中国乡村研究(第1辑)》的作者大都从具体个案出发做实证研究，展现了中国乡村研究的新视野。

황종지(黄宗智, 영문이름 Philip C. C. Huang)

1960년 프린스턴 대학 졸업
1966년 워싱턴 대학에서 박사학위 취득.
1966년 UCLA 역사학과에서 조교수로 시작하여, 2004년 퇴직.
1975년 중국 근대사 학술계간지인 Modern China를 창간, 현재까지 주편을 맡고 있음.
2001년 중국향촌연구(《中国乡村研究》)을 창간 현재까지 주편을 맡고 있음.
2005년- 현재 중국인민대학 장강학자 강좌교수, 중국청화대학 인문고등연구중심, 사회고등연구중심의 고급연구원.

UCLA 퇴직 이후, 인민대학에서 강의를 하고 있다. 그의 강의에 참가하기 위해, 요즘 그의 책을 읽고 있는 중이다. 인민대학에서 강의를 개설하지만, 인민대학 학생이 아니더라도 강의에 참여할 수 있다. 하지만 학생 수를 20명 정도로 제한하고 있으며, 참여하기 위해서는 그의 책을 읽고 중문 2,000자 정도의 서평과 학업 계획서를 제출해야 한다. 참여할 수 있을지는 모르겠지만, 그의 책은 꽤 흥미롭다. 시각의 전환도 되고...
